About Kathy
Before joining DMARC, Kathy has spent over 20 years fighting hunger across nonprofit and government sectors.
Recognition: Received multiple national honors, including Share Our Strength Innovator Award, Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Livingston Fellowship, Dr. Wheeler/Senator Wellstone Award, and named Top Thinker for nonprofits by Denver Post.
Experience: Oversaw nine federal nutrition programs in Colorado, managing the distribution of more than $80 million in American-grown food
Founding CEO of Hunger Free Colorado, the state’s leading anti-hunger organization
Taught advocacy and policy at the University of Denver School of Social Work
Education: Master’s in Social Work, specializing in Community Organizing
