2026 marks a special milestone as DMARC celebrates 50 years of our signature program, the DMARC Food Pantry Network.
Watch this special mini-documentary with some of our closest friends and partners that showcases how we are working together to support our neighbors in greater Des Moines more people struggle to afford food.
A special thanks to Wixted and Co. for their sponsorship of Spring Greens and production of this special anniversary celebration video.

OUR 2026 GOAL
500,000 MEALS
With your support, this year we hope to raise $360,000 and provide 500,000 Meals.

What is a Food Pantry Network?
DMARC operates one of the only Food Pantry Networks in the country. We are neither entirely a “food bank” nor a “food pantry,” but we help fill the gap between both. We guarantee every pantry partner a core supply of food pantry staples free of charge. DMARC also runs an on-site pantry, mobile food pantry, and home delivery service, and uses a centralized intake database to tell the broader story of hunger in our community.
A special thank you to all of our food pantry partners
You independently run and operate some of the busiest pantries in the state, while helping us tell the broader story of hunger in our community. Thank you for everything you do to help us meet the need. We couldn’t do it without you!
