Adam Levine
Director of Programs
Adam joined DMARC in March of 2025 and is now serving in the role of Director of Programs across the DMARC Food Pantry Network. A Des Moines Local, Levine studied visual art, art history, and education at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota (go Pipers!). He has spent many years in the world of food and building community through his career managing a locally-owned metro Des Moines coffee shop. At the DMARC-Ket, he hopes to bring a balanced approach to management that incorporates both an analytical and relationship-oriented approach to leading and he’s looking forward to welcoming everyone into the process.
Outside of work, Levine is competing in Ultimate Frisbee tournaments across the nation, as well as biking, hot yoga, rec-league soccer, and bouldering. He measures his days in cups of coffee consumed, but more so values the ritual of creating an excellent cup of pour-over coffee, and savoring its first sip. When he isn’t taking his dog, Nadia, for a walk, he likes to quietly put on an NBA game in the background while reading a book or making dinner.
What can Adam help with:
- Questions or ideas regarding partnership, operations, and collaboration across the DMARC Network of Food Pantries
- Ideas/thoughts on how we can better serve more areas of the community.
- Providing support to our neighbors beyond food!
