Save some time and money on expensive repairs and consider donating your car, truck, motorcycle, RV, or boat to DMARC! We partner with CARS – Charitable Adult Rides & Services, a nonprofit organization, to make the process easy!
The pick-up is free, your donation is tax-deductible, and we’ll use the proceeds from your donation to continue meeting basic human needs for the greater Des Moines community.
Here is how it works:
The CARS vehicle donation support team is available seven days a week and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
We arrange to have a licensed tow company pick up your vehicle at a convenient time and at no cost to you.
Vehicle donations are tax-deductible, and we work to get the highest return per vehicle for us and your tax benefit. In most cases, when the driver arrives to tow your vehicle, you’re provided with the donation receipt. You will be mailed a thank-you letter within 30 days of the sale of the vehicle, which also serves as a donation tax receipt.
