The DMARC Food Pantry Network exists because we believe no person should ever worry about whether or not they will eat today. Access to food is a basic human need. Regardless of where you live in Greater Des Moines, chances are you know someone who needs help feeding their family.

Visit one of 14 partner food pantry sites, numerous mobile food pantry sites, or home delivery program to receive a three-day supply of food for themselves and their families once per month at no cost. Families and Individuals are also able to receive Anytime items daily. DMARC is an equal opportunity provider. View the full USDA Nondiscrimination Statement here.

Know before you go

In the case of inclement weather, please double-check with your local food pantry before making the trip. National holidays and severe weather can cause pantry closures. The DMARC-Ket Southside location (100 Army Post Rd.) follows the Des Moines Public School district for winter closures (not late starts).

Need Additional Help With Groceries?

We want to hear from you

We know that the cost of living is forcing many to have to make tough choices, one of those being how you afford food. We are gathering stories from people in our community who have struggles with access to food on top of employment, childcare, rent, and not having enough time in the day.
