Volunteering for the first time?

Are you interested in volunteering at the DMARC-Ket Southside Food Pantry? Volunteer orientations are offered every other Thursday (6 to 7 p.m.) and are strongly encouraged for anyone volunteering in the food pantry for the first time before signing up for your first shift.

Sign up below for an orientation date that works for you, and we will be in contact with further details about onboarding as a new volunteer. Volunteer Orientations will cover…

  • A brief overview of DMARC and how your time makes a difference
  • The ins and outs of assisting shoppers in the food pantry
  • Required Civil Rights training and additional onboarding procedures
  • A summary of all the fun ways you can get involved with helping our neighbors in need!
    • This training is not required for those who want to get involved in other ways outside of our Southside Food Pantry.
